Our highly experienced staff has implemented the most up to date computer software and technologies to ensure that our customers are provided an accurate estimation of their projects.

We work together with civil engineering firms in the preliminary design and preconstruction phases to assist in the analysis of estimated material quantities to help reach overall balanced developments. Computer generated 3D models are created from the civil engineering site plans by our estimating department. These 3D models not only are used for accurately predicting material estimates, they are also the same 3D models that are used to guide our GPS machines in the field. We utilize the same 3D model in the field for the finished product that is used during the material estimates to make sure that we meet our client’s expectations. As one of the first privately owned companies in the nation to become equipped with the Trimble GPS Machine Control System, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of quality available.

KR&G utilizes the Trimble Global Positioning System (GPS) that uses a worldwide radio-navigation system formed from a constellation of 24 satellites controlled by the U.S. Department of Defense. These satellites send constant radio signals down to site-specific base station antennas and dual receiver machine antennas which triangulate the radio signals to determine the machines exact position on the earth.  We can certify our finished grades are within a tenth of a foot in elevation when this technology is integrated with the automatic hydraulics of our machines. This advanced technology not only ensures an accurate finished product, it also accelerates production levels that translate to an overall cost savings for our clients.
